Hachi
This artwork was originally created for a small tearoom tucked away in a historical Edo-era residence in Nishijin, Kyoto, enclosed by rich bengala-colored walls.
"Hachi," the courtesan, embodies a dreamlike image of a woman who has mastered the arts — performance, calligraphy, and tea ceremony. Her presence is so powerful, even a fierce white lion warrior follows her lead. She represents the hidden strength within all women, her beauty and dignity a source of deep admiration.

White Tiger
This divine white tiger was painted for a friend of Ueda Baron’s to commemorate their company’s founding. Both born in the Year of the Tiger, the tiger serves as a guardian from the West and a symbol of mutual success and prosperity.
