WEAVE! — A Creative Festival of Art, Music, and Inclusion
The creative festival WEAVE!, centered around art, music, and inclusion, has been steadily growing its fan base and is now celebrating its 6th year.
The goal is to create a space where people of diverse backgrounds, unique expressions, and both old and new cultures collide, mix, and give birth to new value. We want visitors to experience and be part of this dynamic fusion.
The title “WEAVE!” means “to weave.” Just like weaving together threads of various colors to create a new fabric, this festival aims to bring together individual personalities and forms of self-expression, expanding into something new and beautiful.
This is an event where everyone can feel close and truly enjoy themselves. From live music performances to interactive events and an art gallery that celebrates self-expression, there is something for everyone to engage with.
Whether someone has a disability or not, the festival encourages natural interactions—helping each other, talking, and sharing experiences. It fosters a space where “everyone blends together and enjoys the moment,” promoting the idea that true accessibility is built through communication.
CONCEPT
“Shine Your Light, Inspire Courage”
This message is the fundamental theme of ShareMe Runway. While traditional fashion shows focus on showcasing clothing, ShareMe Runway is centered on “discovering the model’s own charm and maximizing that charm.” Instead of showcasing clothes, this runway is a space for models to express their power, where their inner radiance inspires and evokes courage in the audience. Walking the runway offers a special experience where the audience can witness change and growth, gaining courage together.
VISION
Fashion Creates Joy for Everyone
We aim to create a space where everyone can enjoy self-expression, regardless of ability or disability. By providing an inclusive environment where diverse personalities and unique charms can be freely expressed, we deliver a truly “inclusive” fashion experience for all.
ShareMe Runway is a platform where participants can fully express their true selves. Through fashion, we celebrate a world where authentic self-expression is recognized and embraced.
DISCOVERY OF CHALLENGES
Fashion for Everyone
The theme of creating “clothing for everyone” comes with many challenges.
In order to truly create something for everyone, we inevitably arrive at the option of custom-made clothing tailored to each individual's body type and needs.
While utilizing existing, wonderful designs, we aim to explore the boundaries that allow people with diverse conditions to spread their wings and express themselves freely. This presents a significant challenge in balancing design with freedom.
Each year, there are various limitations that sometimes make us feel the constraints, but ultimately, it has helped us bring joy to participants and has enabled brands to explore new possibilities beyond their existing customer base. We believe that challenges and difficulties are an essential part of the process in creating new value.
Through this runway, we offer a platform for exploring how technology and design can evolve and open up new possibilities for those who want to enjoy fashion.
This challenge will drive the progress of brands and the industry as a whole, ultimately paving the way to achieve “fashion for everyone” — this is our goal.
CHIEF PRODUCER OF SHAREME RUNWAY
Hatano Miu
A creator who pursues the freedom of self-expression through fashion, MIU strives to create a space where diverse individuals can shine. As the designer of the tabi shoe brand Toriko, she draws from her own struggles with self-confidence, which fuels her passion for sharing the beauty of living authentically. At the core of her work is the belief that “fashion belongs to everyone.”
2020 — Launched WEAVE!, an inclusive festival blending music, art, and fashion.
2021 — Despite pandemic-related delays, she persisted by hosting a small-scale café event.
2023 — Discovered hybrid kimono that are easier to wear for wheelchair users and organized a fashion show, fulfilling the dreams of models who had once given up on wearing kimono.
2024 — Held a fashion show celebrating the individuality of people with hair loss using wigs, transgender individuals, and others whose uniqueness may not be visible at first glance.
2025 — A runway show featuring 15 models, both with and without disabilities, was held. Overseas brands also sponsored the event, sharing many moving moments both domestically and internationally.
VISION
ShareMe Runway is not just a fashion show—it is a space for self-expression. Rather than simply showcasing clothing, the event focuses on bringing out the inner brilliance of the wearer and sharing it with the audience. Through this runway, we provide a platform for anyone who dreams of becoming their “special self.” Together with professional creators, we support each model’s journey, making their life-changing moment a reality.
TORICO
Toriko redefines Japan’s traditional footwear, tabi shoes, transforming them into the ultimate cool item that seamlessly fits modern street fashion. Each pair is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, ensuring superior comfort and functionality while showcasing bold, unique designs. Toriko doesn’t just preserve tradition—it pushes boundaries, evolving it into cutting-edge fashion and creating new value as a living culture that connects the past to the future.
